For those seeking to complete their collection of festive decorations in Palia, here’s a list of all the Winterlights chests and where to find them:
1. A barrel of laughs at the inn
Hint: Look up
The first present is cleverly placed on top of the large ale barrel outside the Kilima Village Inn. To reach it, enter the inn, ascend to the upstairs balcony in Ashura’s room, and from there, jump onto the roof to easily climb onto the barrel.
2. Milling about in the wind near Zeki’s house
Hint: Zeki’s house is north of town.
Identify Zeki’s house by its location on a ridge near the library. The sought-after present rests beneath the large windmill in his yard.
3. Under a bridge near a watery ridge
Hint: Look for a stone bridge, not a wood one.
Amidst the numerous bridges in Kilima Village, find the white stone bridge northwest of town, directly south of the Mirror Pond Ruins. The present is easily spotted sitting in the water underneath.
4. Watching the Ormuu clip-clopping
Hint: Delaila and Badruu’s family are ranchers as well as farmers.
At the Leafhopper Hills farm, search the rafters of the feed structure on the north side of the Ormuu pen to find the present.
5. Watching the boathouse from a cliff up high
Hint: The boathouse is on the docks west of the Remembrance Garden.
On the large, round hill between the coast and Leafhopper Hills farm, locate the present on a ledge partway down facing towards the coast.
6. Teetering close to a watery swim
Hint: This chest is about to take a fall from a dock.
Head east along the coast from the boathouse to a small wooden dock. The chest is perched on a wooden pole out in the water.
7. In a big pile
Hint: The big pile is close to a Winterlights tree in town.
